Child of Crossroads
by USA Today Bestselling Author Tamar Sloan
People assume we can’t survive without our souls…
Just as Haven’s discovered people existing as Shells, she meets Caleb, a beautiful soul she’s undeniably drawn to. Now she has to choose—her heart or the fate of humanity.
Book Character Interview
Today’s guests in our Souls and Shadows boxset interview room are Haven and Caleb. A huge THANK YOU goes out to Tamar Sloan who introduced the demo-god and the human to us via her novel „Child of Crossroads“. Enjoy!
Q: May I offer you something to drink?
Haven: Whatever is the quickest.
Caleb: Coffee would be awesome, thanks!
Q: I hope you had some time to recover from your last adventure in „Child of Crossroads”. Tell me, what is your favorite relaxing pastime?
Haven: For a long time, I would’ve said monitoring the Crossraods. But now, I have Caleb…
Caleb: Is it too nerdy to say studying? A lot of people are depending on me, but the truth is, I kinda enjoy it…
Q: Where did you grow up? Do you have fond memories of your childhood?
Haven: I grew up in New York. The memories that I thought were the most important is when my mother, Hectate, would visit me on my birthday.
Caleb: I’d rather not go there. There were a lot of foster homes 🙁
Q: Whom or what do you really hate?
Haven: Wraiths. They’re black holes of death.
Caleb: Wasted potential – there’s always a choice.
Q: What is your biggest fear?
Haven: Failing my mother. And my father. For a very long time, there didn’t seem a way to do both.
Caleb: Throwing away the chance I’ve been given. Oh, and Haven not realizing…
Q: What makes you smile?
Haven: Souls. They’re all light and beauty.
Caleb: Life. Opportunities. Haven.
Q: I’d love to hear about your future plans. Is there anything you can reveal?
Haven: Well, they kinda changed recently. I was so sure that the Crossroads were my responsiblity and my future…
Caleb: Ace law school…with a certain someone doing the same by my side 🙂
Thank you both for being with us today. We hope to hear more from you soon!
