Book Character Interview
Are you easy to scare?
If the answer is yes, we urgently advise you to take a deep and calming breath before reading on (and read on you should anyway). Allow us to introduce two more fascinating characters from our Souls And Shadows boxset: Mila Moroz, a necromancer in denial, and Odyn, a necromancer (no denial on his part). Cora Kenborn introduced Mila and Dani René helped us to meet Odyn.
Together, Cora and Dani wrote „Cursed in Love“, the hot paranormal romance exclusive to Souls And Shadows.
Q: May I offer you something to drink?
Mila: White wine if I’m off the clock, however a a certain recently aquired pain in my butt seems to think red is more refined.
Odyn: Coffee, black, no sugar.
Q: I hope you had some time to recover from your last adventure in „Cursed in Love”. Tell me, what is your favorite relaxing pastime?
Mila: I’m a homicide detective, what is this relaxation thing you speak of?
Odyn: Relax? With Mila around? She’s far too fiery for me to relax, especially when she’s talking to the dead.
Q: Where did you grow up? Do you have fond memories of your childhood?
Mila: I was born in New Orleans, but I grew up all over the Southeast. We moved around a lot because my mom was one of those nomad, free-spirited types. Oh, and she made it a habit of talking to the dearly departed.
Odyn: Born and raised in NOLA. It’s where I learned about what I am and I’ll never leave. Let’s just say it’s been an interesting childhood.
Q: Whom or what do you really hate?
Mila: Serial killers make me kind of twitchy.
Odyn: People who try to hurt my girl, Mila.
Q: What is your biggest fear?
Mila: Someone discovering that I’ve inherited my mother’s “gift.” I don’t want any part of the “other side,” but they won’t leave me alone.
Odyn: Fear is for the uninformed. I make sure I know all there is about what I do.
Q: What makes you smile?
Mila: Unfortunately, another necromancer with the looks of an underwear model and the temperament of a cranky toddler.
Odyn: Mila when she’s trying to argue with me and I know I’m right.
Q: I’d love to hear about your future plans. Is there anything you can reveal?
Mila: Not unless you want to end up on the wrong side of my next crime scene tape.
Odyn: I cannot say at this point. Let’s just keep things quiet until we meet again.
Okay, none of us authors wants to „end up on the wrong side“, as Mila put it, so if you please will excuse us … there are more interviews to prepare and more adventures to write down …. See you! Soon. Hopefully.
